Ma Divyam Surabhi

Ma Divyam ShurbhiOn visiting Nisarga for the first time in 2006, someone asked me "Are you a sannaysin?". "What is that?" was my response. I don't remember the rest of the conversation. What I remember is, how my body started swaying and dancing while walking around on this first visit. I knew I had finally come home.

Smiling, walking with my eyes closed
Sometimes I follow my feet
They know more than me
Sometimes I hear your soft whisper
Calling
I run into that direction
Running with my eyes closed

Ma Divyam ShurbhiYou must have a plan
But I'm not interested in knowing about it any longer

Once I used to hunger to die
But the beauty of this silent language
You have shown me
Living is such joy

It is 2011 now and I'm visiting Nisarga again. I have been travelling since that first visit.
Very different from the Delhi lifestyle I had before. Travelling to many beautiful places, meeting many loving, joyous people.
Yet, I return here every year. This is where my heart is. This is home.
